| Job Title: Assistant Accreditation Manager -Transport |

The Energy Saving Trust (EST) is a primarily Government Funded, non-profit company, promoting sustainable energy solutions to households, businesses and the road transport sector. We are one of the UK's foremost organisations leading people to act on climate change.
This role will involve assisting with the development and management of the Energy Saving Trust's transport accreditation and labelling activities, and assisting with securing new business opportunities in this area. Current activity is focused on Department for Transport (DfT), Scottish Government (SG), Greater London Authority (GLA) and Transport for London (TfL) funded programmes that aim to reduce transport emissions.
The main responsibilities will be:
• Assisting with defining programme standards and requirements
• Managing approvals and monitoring of conformity
• Maintaining registers of approved products and companies.
• Contribute to the work of the Accreditation Team in other areas of sustainable energy.
• Successful interaction with other team members within the Energy Saving Trust and with a wide range of external stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
• Good understanding of transport and related environmental issues.
• Good knowledge of engines and after treatment technologies.
• Knowledge of vehicle and engine emissions legislation and test procedures.
• Awareness of relevant certification/accreditation principles, systems and standards.
• Excellent organisational skills with a proven ability to deliver results within specified deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A methodical and analytical approach to completing work, with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to develop and maintain business-like and professional relationships with stakeholders.
