AEROSPACE SYSTEMS ENGINEERS
CONSULTANCY - AEROSPACE
BASED BRISTOL

We are seeking Aerospace Systems Engineers to join the Bristol office of this leading Engineering Consultancy. The position of Aerospace Systems Engineer is ideally suited to high calibre engineering graduates with sufficient and appropriate post graduate experience. You will be given the opportunity to provide high quality technical input to our aerospace projects, and develop your systems engineering skills

To succeed as Aerospace Systems Engineer you will be Degree qualified in Mechanical, Aeronautical or Systems Engineering, with sufficient and appropriate professional experience in engineering environments relevant to the aerospace sector.

You will have experience in one or more of the following:

- Systems Engineering Processes (such as the AIRBUS Requirements Based Engineering Process)
- System modelling techniques (e.g. MATLAB /SIMULINK/STATEFLOW).
- Active Aerospace domain knowledge preferred but automobile experience considered.
- Experience of writing specifications using tools such as DOORS.
- Knowledge of System Interfaces and Integration including Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA
- Experience with using ARINC 429, AFDX, CANBUS or other network protocols.
- Requirements Validation & Verification management
- System safety (functional)
- Appreciation of airworthiness regulations and other design constraints.

Ideally you will possess aerospace experience, covering fuel, ice & rain or landing gear systems and be pursuing Chartership through the IMechE or RAeS.

All candidates must be in a position to obtain UK security clearance to BC level. Additional restrictions may apply to certain projects.
