| Description |
Company: Our client is a leading European Engineering and Consulting company specializing in projects for the Oil and Gas Industry. They are currently working on projects in the Middle East (Dubai, Kuwait, Qatar, UAE and Bahrain), Russia and China. New opportunities exist for Project Managers in Edmonton Canada.
Role: In the role of Project Manager you will develop and manage detailed project task time lines, resource requirements, test plans and training as necessary. The ideal candidate will also analyze project weekly and report to stakeholders on progress including milestones, issues and problem resolution. You must continually assess business case and evaluate strategic alignment of all projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall management of individual projects and will be the main client contact for project delivery. These projects will involve you working on business Process Reengineering and improvements to existing services. These will include the creation of project plans, and driving adherence to the schedule, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of results for the entire project.
Skills: The skills required for this role are as follows;
- Minimum of 10 years experience in the Oil and Gas industry in a project management role,
- A Degree is highly desired in a relevant stream,
- Experience working on business Process Reengineering,
- Fluent in English is a must additional European languages are beneficial,
- Project management certified with strong MS Project Office skills and significant experience operating within a PMO,
- Project Managers must have the ability to develop project plans and to see projects through to successful completion within established time frames,
